Kareena Kapoor's Statue Featured At Madame Tussauds In London.

First it was Amitabh Bachchan, then came Aishwarya, SRK, Salman and Hrithik. And now, it's none other than Kareena Kapoor, whose wax statue will soon be featured at Madame Tussauds in London.

News is that Bebo's wax statue is already in the making; in fact the actress flew to London last evening to check out her statue. However, the statue will be unveiled on the Indian Independence Day weekend (August 15-16) which coincides with Saif's 41st birthday (August 16).

The Madame Tussauds team flew down to Mumbai four months ago when the measurements were taken and other formalities were completed.

salman and aishwary thanks to London's wax museum

Thanks to London’s famous wax museum, Madame Tussaud,Aishwary Bachcha and former flame Salman Khan will get to be together.
Well, we’re talking about their wax statues at the museum. Salman’s statue at the museum will be unveiled in January 2008. Aishwarya already has a statue dedicated to her at the museum. Our source says, “This will immortalise them together.”
And the reasons for placing the statues together are purely business oriented. “After SRK’s wax figure in Madame Tussauds was unveiled, business quadrupled. If Salman and her statues are paired together, business will further multiply,” the source adds. When contacted, Salman Ahmed (Group Managing Director of Bobby Khan Holdings who now have the rights to open Madame Tussauds in Mumbai) says, “There has never been any branding here but recently, we have been inundated by offers from corporates in India. A new zone called the Bollywood Zone is being created,” he added.
When questioned about whether Salman’s statue was being placed beside Aishwarya, he said, “There is a good possibility for everything, depending on the demand and of course, Madame Tussauds authorities.”
